This decree establishes the technical specifications for a $20.00 Mexican commemorative coin marking the 500th anniversary of the founding of the first Villa of Colima. The coin is defined as a 30.0 mm dodecagonal bimetallic piece with a total weight of 12.67 g, composed of a silver-plated alloy core and a bronze-aluminum ring, featuring discontinuous reeding, latent images, and microtext. The Bank of Mexico is required to determine the reverse design within 30 days of publication, with minting authorized 30 days after design approval, while the Mexican Mint handles technical adjustments and the Bank retains all intellectual property rights.
