Decree Extinguishing the Decentralized Public Agency Financiera Nacional de Desarrollo Agropecuario, Rural, Forestal y Pesquero and Abrogating Its Organic Law
The decree extinguishes the decentralized public agency Financiera Nacional de Desarrollo Agropecuario, Rural, Forestal y Pesquero (FND), which retains legal personality solely for liquidation purposes. The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, through the Development Banking Unit, oversees the liquidation process, while the Institute to Return to the People What Was Stolen acts as the sole liquidator. The decree abrogates the agency's Organic Law, mandates the transfer of assets and liabilities to the liquidator, and ensures that labor rights and pension obligations for former Banrural system workers are preserved and paid from recovered assets.
