The Reserve Bank of India directs regulated entities to strictly follow the procedure laid down in the UAPA Order dated February 2, 2021, regarding the designation of 23 individuals as terrorists under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. Regulated entities must report details of accounts resembling these individuals to the Financial Intelligence Unit-India and advise the Ministry of Home Affairs as required. The designated individuals include Masood Ilyas Kashmiri, Mohammad Mussadiq, and Mufti Muhammad Asghar Khan, among others, listed in the Fourth Schedule of the Act.
