The Financial and Monetary Policy and Regulation Board of Ecuador issued Resolution No. JPRFM-2025-018-A to formally designate Javier Andrés Borja Ortiz as the Secretary of the Central Bank of Ecuador's Audit Committee. This appointment is made in accordance with the Organic Code of Monetary and Financial Law and the Committee's Regulations, which mandate that the Secretary be a public servant appointed by the Board to assist in financial oversight. The resolution also repeals the previous designation resolution and mandates formal notification to the General Secretariat and Human Resources Administration.
