DFIM Circular Letter No. 05: Preparation of Financial Statements
All financial institutions operating in Bangladesh are directed to strictly comply with the publication requirements of DFIM Circular Letter No. 11 dated December 23, 2009, by publishing their complete financial statements rather than only the balance sheet. Institutions must publish the full financial statements in one widely circulated national Bengali daily and one English daily newspaper, as well as on their company website, within one week of filing with the Bangladesh Bank. Additionally, the Department of Financial Institutions and Markets must be informed within seven days of the publication of the financial statements.
