DFIM Circular Letter No. 11: Keeping Finance Company branches closed in the election area on 9th March, 2024 Saturday for the occasion of General/By-Election of Mymensingh and Cumilla city corporation, 06 municipals and 32 Union Parishads
Finance companies operating in the specified election areas must close all business centers, branches, and booths on Saturday, March 9, 2024. This closure applies to the Mymensingh City Corporation general election, the Cumilla City Corporation mayoral by-election, general elections for six municipal councils, and general and by-elections for 32 Union Parishads. The directive is issued under Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Company Act, 2023.
