DFIM Circular Letter No. 38: Providing necessary assistance in the Economic Census 2024
The Director (DFIM) of the Bangladesh Bank directs all finance companies operating in Bangladesh to provide information and necessary assistance to census enumerators for the Economic Census 2024. This directive mandates cooperation for data collection scheduled to take place nationwide from December 10 to 26, 2024, covering the identification, economic activities, manpower, resources, and basic facilities of all economic units. The instruction is issued under the powers conferred by Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023.
