DFIM Circular No. 02: Keeping FI branches closed in the election areas on 15th May, 2018 Tuesday for election of Khulna City Corporation and eight other municipalities & union parishads
Financial institutions are required to keep all branches closed on Tuesday, 15 May 2018, in specific election areas to facilitate voting for the Khulna City Corporation election and elections for eight other municipalities and union parishads. This directive is issued in accordance with Government of Bangladesh notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.002.18-90 dated 06 May 2018. The affected locations include Gazipur City Corporation, Bogura Talanda Upazila, Munshiganj Tongibari Upazila, Gaibandha Fulchhari Upazila, Jessore Monirampur Upazila, Jhalokathi Sadar Upazila, Bhola Charfashion Upazila, Chandpur Hajiganj Upazila, and Chittagong Sonadanga Upazila.
