DFIM Circular No. 03: Displaying Bangladesh Bank's Hotline number (16236) along with FI's own hotline number at a visible place to ensure improved financial services and quick resolution of complaints
All financial institutions operating in Bangladesh are directed to display the Bangladesh Bank hotline number (16236) alongside their own hotline number in a visible place at their main offices and branch offices. Institutions are advised to establish their own hotline numbers if they do not currently have one. This directive is issued under Section 18(c) of the Financial Institutions Act, 1993, and takes effect immediately.
