Directive of 2026 on Setting and Payment of Fees relating to the Authorisation of a Credit Servicer and the acquisition or increase of a qualifying holding in a Credit Servicer

The Central Bank of Cyprus sets the application fee for obtaining a credit servicer operating license at €10,000 and the fee for acquiring or increasing a qualifying holding at €5,000, with the latter amount applying even if both applications are submitted simultaneously. These fees must be paid together with the respective applications to the Central Bank of Cyprus, and the method of payment is communicated by the Bank to applicants. This Directive repeals the 2023 Directive regarding fees for credit acquisition companies or credit facility managers and enters into force upon its publication in the Official Journal of the Republic.
