Directive (PSDIR-7) on the Routing of Three Debit Card Bins of First National Bank of Namibia

The Bank of Namibia requires the international routing of First National Bank (FNB) debit card BINs 479053, 479057, and 417307 to be rerouted via NamSwitch in accordance with section 9.3 of PSD-4. This Directive applies to FNB Namibia, Nedbank Namibia, and Standard Bank Namibia, with implementation and testing required on or before 15 August 2014. Failure to comply constitutes an offence under the Payment System Management Act, subjecting non-compliant parties to remedial measures.
