Disclosure Requirements for the Policy Owner’s Protection Fund
PPF Scheme members must extend the standard disclosure statement to statements to policyholders and annual bonus updates. Members may amend pronouns or pluralize the statement for readability, substitute the policy name for insured policies in mixed documents, and use an abbreviated form in product advertisements. Internet search advertisements may omit the statement if linked to a landing page containing the full text. Compliance with these requirements is mandatory by 1 September 2019.
