Dispensing with Submission of Form C to Bangladesh Bank
Authorized Dealers of Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh are required to cease submitting Form C with monthly or periodic returns to Bangladesh Bank effective January 2017. Instead, these institutions must update the Online Inward Remittance Monitoring System at the time of conducting such transactions. Authorized Dealers must retain printed copies of Form C and related documents for five years for inspection, with disposal of records under investigation requiring clearance from the relevant inspection team or government agency.
