Disposal of IMP Form after matching with bill of entry (B/E) electronically
Authorized Dealers (ADs) may accept bills of entry (B/E) accessible through the customs automated system to dispose of IMP Forms upon completion of matching formalities. ADs must verify the release of imported goods and settlement of applicable duties and taxes, and preserve a printed, authenticated copy of the B/E in import files for the prescribed period. This option applies only to imports through custom houses with automated B/E issuance systems and does not waive the requirement to obtain B/E from importers when unavailable in the system or for other regulatory purposes.
