DMD Circular Letter No. 09: Auction of Central Bank Repo
The Department of Monetary Management (DMD) of the Bangladesh Bank amends the schedule for Central Bank Repo auctions, effective immediately, to strengthen the domestic money market. Starting July 2024, auctions will be held twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, or on the next working day if holidays occur. The Reverse Repo Facility and Reverse OMO Facility will continue to operate at prevailing rates on a daily basis.
