The statutory consideration period for a Declaration of No-objection (DNO) application is 62 business days, starting on the first business day after De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) receives a complete application. This period may be extended once by a maximum of 30 business days if supplementary information is required, and DNB may cease consideration within four weeks if the applicant fails to provide sufficient additional information. The regulator notes that processing times often exceed the statutory limit due to delays in submitting complete documentation, and applications with incomplete or incorrect information risk rejection.
