DOS Circular Letter No. 04: Opening of scheduled Bank branches in Dhaka and Chittagong on 27 and 28 March 2015
The Department of Off-Site Supervision directs all scheduled banks located in Dhaka and Chittagong Metropolitan Areas to open all their branches on Friday, 27 March 2015, and Saturday, 28 March 2015. This directive is issued to facilitate the submission of nomination papers for the Dhaka North City Corporation, Dhaka South City Corporation, and Chittagong City Corporation general elections by allowing candidates to collect treasury challans, pay orders, or bank receipts for election deposits.
