DOS Circular Letter No. 05: Closing of Scheduled Bank Branches on 29/03/2015 (Sunday) due to Two Pourashava Elections (Modhukhali and Chandpur)
All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are required to close their branches located in the Modhukhali Pourashava of Faridpur District and the Chandpur Pourashava of Chandpur District on Sunday, 29 March 2015. This closure is mandated to facilitate voting in the respective pourashava elections and to allow bank staff to exercise their voting rights. The directive is issued based on a letter from the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives dated 25/03/2015.
