DOS Circular Letter No. 07: Instruction to take necessary measures to facilitate casting of vote by the voter employees of the related areas on 07 February 2022
All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are advised to close any bank branch or sub-branch located in establishments designated as polling stations or for electoral activities within the relevant electoral areas on 07 February 2022. This measure is for the elections of 138 Union Parishads. Banks must also provide opportunities for their voter employees working in branches and sub-branches within these electoral areas to exercise their voting rights, as per a Ministry of Public Administration notification dated 30 January 2022.
