DOS Circular Letter No. 10: Keeping scheduled bank branches closed in the election areas on 28th April, 2024 Sunday for the occasion of General/By-Election of 25 Union Parishads and 2 municipals
All branches and regional offices of scheduled banks located in specific electoral areas must remain closed on Sunday, 28 April 2024. This closure applies to areas holding general elections for 19 Union Parishads and by-elections for 6 Union Parishads, as well as by-elections for the Mayor positions of Jaldhaka Municipality in Nilphamari District and Katakhali Municipality in Rajshahi District. The directive is issued in accordance with government gazette notifications dated 23 April 2024.
