DOS Circular Letter No. 11: Re-fixation of holiday for Shab-e-Barat on the 22nd April 2019 Monday instead of 21st April 2019 for all scheduled banks in Bangladesh
The Department of Off-Site Supervision of the Bangladesh Bank has re-fixed the holiday for Shab-e-Barat from Sunday, 21 April 2019 to Monday, 22 April 2019, for all scheduled banks in Bangladesh. This change is implemented in accordance with the decision of the National Moon Sighting Committee of the Islamic Foundation. Banks are required to observe the holiday on the newly designated date.
