DOS Circular Letter No. 13: Keeping Hajj activities related scheduled bank branches open on 04 May 2023
The Department of Offshore Supervision directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to keep branches involved in Hajj operations open on 04 May 2023, a government holiday, from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM. This directive, issued under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, requires banks to operate with a limited number of staff while ensuring adequate security measures are in place.
