Subject: In the context of the general holiday declared on the day of voting, 23 May 2017, Tuesday, on the occasion of postponed general elections of Chinaduli Union Parishad of Islampur Upazila, Jamalpur District; postponed general elections of Sutipara Union Parishad of Dhamrai Upazila, Dhaka District; general elections of Khetlal Pourashava, Jaypurhat District; postponed general elections of Permol Uttar of Sadar Dakshin Upazila, Comilla District; and postponed general elections of Kalamarchara Union Parishad of Maheshkhali Upazila, Cox's Bazar District.
In view of the memo no.-05.00.0000.173.08-001.12-110; 004.11-111; 001.17-112 and 001.17-113 dated 22/05/2017 of Rule-4 Branch, Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, regarding the postponed general elections of Chinaduli Union Parishad of Islampur Upazila, Jamalpur District; postponed general elections of Sutipara Union Parishad of Dhamrai Upazila, Dhaka District; general elections of Khetlal Pourashava, Jaypurhat District; postponed general elections of Permol Uttar of Sadar Dakshin Upazila, Comilla District; and postponed general elections of Kalamarchara Union Parishad of Maheshkhali Upazila, Cox's Bazar District, all regional offices and branches of scheduled banks located in the concerned election areas will remain closed on the coming Tuesday, 23 May 2017.
