DOS Circular Letter No. 15: On the occasion of ‘July Mass Uprising Day’ all scheduled banks will remain closed on August 5, 2025
All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are required to remain closed for one day on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in observance of 'July Mass Uprising Day'. This closure is mandated in accordance with Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Ministry of the Cabinet Division, Notification No. 04.00.0000.000.416.23.0001.20.407 dated July 2, 2025.
