DOS Circular Letter No. 22: Announcement of Holiday on 11 September 2016 and Working Day on 24 September 2016
All scheduled banks in Bangladesh are ordered to remain closed on Sunday, 11 September 2016, except for branches specifically directed to stay open by the Bangladesh Bank. The following Saturday, 24 September 2016, is declared a working day to compensate for the holiday. This directive is issued in accordance with the Government of Bangladesh's notification regarding the observance of the holiday.
