DOS Circular Letter No. 47: Instruction to take necessary measures to facilitate casting of vote by the voter employees of the related areas on 2nd November 2021
The Department of Off-Site Supervision instructs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to close their branches or sub-branches located in specific electoral areas on November 2, 2021, where those premises are designated as polling stations for the by-election to the vacant seat of Sirajganj-6 in the Jatiya Sangsad, as well as for elections to nine municipalities and four union parishads. Banks are required to ensure that voters employed by the bank within these specific electoral zones are provided the opportunity to exercise their voting rights during the election process.
