DOS Circular Letter No. 52: Instruction to take necessary measures to facilitate casting of vote by the voter employees of the related areas on 26th December 2021 for election of Pourashavas and Union Parishads
The Department of Off-Site Supervision instructs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to close branches or sub-branches located in specific areas designated as polling stations for the Pourashava and Union Parishad elections on 26 December 2021. This directive applies to the 3 Pourashavas and 840 Union Parishads specified in Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.002.18-259 dated 21 December 2021. Banks are required to ensure that voters employed at these locations are facilitated in exercising their voting rights.
