NOTIFICATION

S.R.O. 1349(I)/2025.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 512 read with section 471 of the Companies Act, 2017 (XIX of 2017), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan makes the following amendments to the Companies Regulations, 2024, hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that comments, if any, received by the Commission within fourteen days from the date of placement of the draft amendments on the website of the Commission will be taken in to consideration, namely:-

DRAFT AMENDMENTS

(a) In the Companies Regulations, 2024, in regulation 86, for sub-regulation (1), the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"86. Issuance of copies of documents.– (1) The registrar concerned shall, on the application of a person and upon payment of such fee as provided in the Seventh Schedule to the Act, cause to be issued QR-enabled digital copies of documents only.

Explanation: For the purposes of this regulation, document includes any document required to be filed, recorded, or registered with the registrar, or any certificate, copy of an order issued, or extract from any register maintained by the registrar under the Act.”

Provided that for the purpose of requirement of the Court or request by the Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and other government institutions, physical certified copies duly stamped may be issued.
