Law Decree No. 45 of 2022 Amending Law Decree No. 39 of 2022 Concerning the Combating of Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism
President of the State of Palestine issued Law Decree No. 45 of 2022 to amend Article 47(1) of Law Decree No. 39 of 2022 concerning the combating of money laundering and terrorist financing. The amendment empowers the Court of First Instance or the competent court, upon request by the Public Prosecutor and without prior notice, to impose provisional seizures while safeguarding the rights of bona fide third parties. The decree repeals all conflicting provisions, mandates implementation by all relevant authorities, and takes effect immediately upon publication in the Official Gazette.
