Requirements to Be Exempted as a Pawnshop Business
The National Bank of Fira and Regulatory Authority (NBFINA) establishes minimum exemption requirements for pawnshop businesses seeking regulatory approval in Botswana. Applicants must submit a complete application through the RBSS portal, pay a P6300 non-refundable fee, maintain P20,000 in financial liquidity, and ensure all key officers meet fit-and-proper standards while restricting exemptions to Batswana nationals.
