The Attorney General must apply to the High Court for orders freezing the property of listed entities and associated individuals or entities situated in Trinidad and Tobago. These freezing orders remain effective until 18 October 2023 and prohibit possession or control of assets, with provisions allowing for variations to cover reasonable living expenses, legal fees, and specific contractual obligations. The Attorney General is required to maintain and circulate updated lists of listed entities and court orders to financial institutions and listed businesses, which must immediately report any known or suspected property or transactions to the Financial Intelligence Unit.
