Subject: Enabling the Provision of Various Types of Electronic Payments for Charities and Non-Profit Organizations.

In continuation of the Saudi Central Bank regulations communicated via Circular No. (119129/1000/371) dated 1437/11/18H, which required charities and non-profit organizations to refrain from issuing mobile point-of-sale (GPRS) devices and replace them with landline-connected POS devices, and Circular No. (4106159) dated 1441/11/H, issued regarding upgrading POS devices operating in the Kingdom to fourth-generation technology.

We inform you that, in coordination with relevant authorities, it has been decided to enable the provision of Central Bank-approved electronic payment solutions, including mobile point-of-sale (GPRS) devices, provided that charities or non-profit organizations obtain approval from the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development to utilize this service.
