Exceptional measures for cash withdrawals
The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon issued Interim Decision No. 13546 to amend Basic Decision No. 13384 regarding exceptional cash withdrawal measures. This decision repeals and replaces Article Four, extending the application of existing withdrawal conditions until April 30, 2023, with explicit provision for renewal. Enacted upon issuance following the Central Bank Council's March 29, 2023 meeting, it mandates immediate implementation and official gazette publication.
