The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) exempts customers of airport exchange center branches traveling outside the Kingdom from presenting a national ID to execute transactions, permitting reliance solely on a passport and boarding pass verified against the customer's name. This directive implements formal approval from the Minister of Interior and updates the Bank’s February 2015 operational guide for exchange offices. All Exchange Centers (A and B) are required to comply immediately upon the circular's issuance date.
