Extension of Bank Branch Working Hours in Egypt
The Central Bank of Egypt extends the working hours of some bank branches until 5:00 PM on official working days from Sunday to Thursday, effective July 8, 2025, until further instructions are issued. This extension applies based on each bank's vision and the geographical distribution of branches, requiring banks to notify the Central Bank of Egypt. Branches located inside commercial centers, malls, clubs, or hotels remain subject to the working hour regulations set in Circular No. 101 dated September 15, 2009.
