External Operational and Services Circular DEP-478, Subject 06: 100,000 Pesos Banknotes
The Banco de la República issued External Operational and Services Circular DEP-478, replacing sheet 6-8, to announce that 100,000 pesos banknotes, edition February 25, 2025 – Series BD, will be put into circulation starting June 22, 2026. These new banknotes maintain the same design, general characteristics, and security features as the previous edition. The circular also references the prior circulation of 100,000 pesos banknotes, Series BC, which began on December 15, 2025.
