The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia issued Resolution No. 148-N on 9 September 2025 to authorize the circulation of seven new silver investment coins for the 2026 issue. These coins feature the Coat of Arms on the obverse and an image of Noah's Ark with Mount Ararat on the reverse, with face values ranging from 100 to 20,000 dram and weights from 1/4 troy ounce to 5 kg. All coins are struck in 999.9 fine silver by GEIGER EDELMETALLE AG with a maximum mintage of up to 8,000,000 pieces for the 1 oz denomination.
