Guidelines for reporting under EMIR

These Guidelines apply to financial and non-financial counterparties, trade repositories, and competent authorities from 29 April 2024. They mandate that all reports submitted after the start date comply with the amended requirements of the RTS and ITS on reporting. Counterparties must update all outstanding derivatives to conform with revised requirements within 180 calendar days of the reporting start date by submitting a report with event type 'Update', unless a modification or correction was already reported within that period.
