Regulation on Compiling and Submitting Statistical Data on Foreign Exchange Transactions
Latvijas Banka issued Regulation No 232 to establish the requirements and procedures for credit institutions and foreign exchange companies to compile and submit statistical data on foreign exchange transactions. The regulation mandates electronic submission of monthly reports within five business days, detailing transaction amounts, weighted average exchange rates, and customer codes. It supersedes previous regulations and takes effect on 1 January 2023 to support the central bank's supervisory and analytical tasks.
