Circular 02-2018: Submission of Compliance Forms F-1, F-2, and Single Chart of Accounts for Investment Advisors and Administrators under Agreement 8-2017
The Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores (SMV) of Panama issued Circular 02-2018 to mandate the submission of Compliance Forms F-1 and F-2 by supervised financial entities in accordance with Agreement 8-2017. Form F-1 requires the submission of the entity's risk matrix, while Form F-2 requires information on final beneficiaries (clients), with both due no later than the 15th day of the month following the end of each semester. The first official submission for the semester ending June 30, 2018, must be filed by July 15, 2018, with subsequent submissions following the same semi-annual deadline.
