Guidance · MAS · 24 Aug 2026
Licensed Financial Advisers, Capital Markets Services Licence holders, and other regulated entities must download and save existing misconduct reporting submissions before 1 January 2027, as the current system will cease access. This new Misconduct Reporting System replaces the existing one from that date. Entities may update previously submitted reports via the new system starting 1 January 2027. While record-keeping is encouraged, the mandatory action is preserving historical data before the transition deadline.

As a matter of good record-keeping practice, FIs are encouraged to retain copies of their misconduct reports upon submission. 1 From 1 January 2027, FIs that need to update submissions previously made through the existing system may do so via the new MRS.
