Fees on A Reinsurance Company Directive No. SRB/3/2022
The National Bank of Ethiopia establishes specific fees for reinsurance companies applying for or renewing business licenses. Applicants must pay an investigation fee of Birr 50,000 and a licensing fee of Birr 100,000, while license renewal requires a fee of Birr 100,000. A penalty fee of Birr 10,000 applies to companies failing to renew their license within one month of expiry. This directive repeals Article 16 of Directive No. SRB/1/2014 and enters into force on October 3, 2022.
