FEPD-1 Circular No. 02: Export under usance terms backed by payment undertaking or payment risk coverage from local insurance companies
Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh are permitted to use payment undertaking or payment risk coverage from local insurance companies for exports under usance terms on documentary collection. This authorization extends the scope of FE Circular No. 39/2025, which previously allowed such coverage for exports under open account credit terms. The relevant provisions of the earlier circular apply to these new transactions, while other existing export instructions remain unchanged.
