FEPD-1 Circular No. 28: Remittance against overseas tour packages
Authorized Dealers are permitted to process foreign exchange remittances for overseas tour packages arranged by locally licensed tour operators holding Tour Operator Association of Bangladesh membership, subject to specific terms. Remittances are capped at USD 3,000 per traveler per calendar year outside the annual travel quota, with excess amounts allowed only if collected via international cards. The document mandates strict documentation, due diligence, and reporting requirements for Authorized Dealers and tour operators, and amends Part-J of FEPD-1 Circular No. 08/2026 accordingly.
