FEPD Circular Letter No. 06: Regarding Recent Instruction by Ministry of Commerce towards the Concerned Organizations for Taking Compulsory Membership of Bangladesh Independent Power Producers Association
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank directs all approved dealer banks to ensure that organizations engaged in foreign exchange transactions, specifically the Bangladesh Independent Power Producers Association (BIPPA), the Bangladesh Association of Independent Power Producers (BAIPP), and the Independent Power Producers Association (IPPA), take compulsory membership in the Federation of Bangladesh Independent Power Producers Association (FBIPPA). This directive implements an instruction issued by the Ministry of Commerce on February 25, 2016, under the provisions of the Associations Ordinance, 1961.
