FEPD Circular Letter No. 11: Submission of Applications to Record Refunded Import Payments in OIMS
All scheduled banks in Bangladesh must submit applications to record refunded import payments in the Online Import Monitoring System (OIMS) through its Online Ticketing Module under the category ‘Refund of Import Payments’ instead of via email. These tickets must include the relevant LC ID, IMP number, and Inward ID number. This requirement applies to unmatched or overdue bills of entry or customs certified invoices resulting from non-receipt or short receipt of goods, where payments are settled by inward remittances from foreign suppliers or legitimate sources. The instructions are effective immediately.
