FEPD Circular Letter No. 14: Submission of LC documents against import through Land Ports
Authorized Dealers in Bangladesh are no longer required to send copies of Letters of Credit and subsequent amendments to the land port authority. This exemption applies because an online reporting platform linked with the customs authority is now in place. Consequently, paragraph 21(b) of chapter 7 of the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions-2018, Vol.-1 is revoked, while other relevant instructions remain unchanged.
