FEPD Circular Letter No. 25: Settlement of payment against inland LCs in foreign exchange
Authorized Dealers in Bangladesh are permitted to continue settling admissible local payments in foreign exchange through their nostro accounts until September 30, 2020. This authorization extends to the transfer of payments locally as specified in paragraph 28(A)(ii) of chapter 13 of the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions-2018 and FE Circular No. 10, dated April 15, 2018. The directive applies to operations conducted on general holidays.
