The Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank directs all approved dealer banks to refrain from issuing letters of credit for the import of narcotics and alcoholic products unless a license, permit, no-objection certificate, or prior approval is issued by the Department of Narcotics Control.
