FEPD Circular Letter No. 41: Import of Ophthalmic Medical Equipment including Intraocular Lens on deferred/usance basis
The deferred or usance period for importing Ophthalmic Medical Equipment, including Intraocular Lens, under supplier’s or buyer’s credit terms is extended from 90 days to 180 days. This change applies to Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh and facilitates the import of these specific medical items. Other relevant instructions regarding these imports remain unchanged.
